At this time registration is for travelers who will be visiting Mexico for the first time with Chapter 8. An additional registration will be available starting on September 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM Eastern.

2027 Wine, Waves, and Whales Rally

A three-week RV adventure through Baja California—wine country, Sea of Cortez sunrises, beach camps, and an unforgettable gray-whale encounter.

Check-in
Our gathering spot on the US side of the border will be at Potrereo County Park in Potrereo, CA on February 5th and our border crossing at Tecate on February 8th.

The Wine
We will travel to Guadalupe RV Park, Rancho Sordo Mundo. Locally, there are many wineries and several olive oil producers

The Waves
Next stop is La Jolla Beach Camp in the southern part of Ensenada, followed by San Felipe, Bahia San Luis Gonzaga, and Bahia de Los Angeles on the Sea of Cortez.

The Whales
Then we head across to the Pacific side of Baja California Sur to finish our rally at Guerrero Negro to see the grey whales.

The rally ends on the morning of February 27th.
