2025 Rally Charity Needs

Chapter 8 Mexican Connection 2025 Rally Charity Needs

Hola fellow Mexican Connection members,

When we meet at Potrero County Park next February, one of the activities will be learning about our charity plans.  My name is Nancy, and I will organize our volunteers starting at Potrero Park.  I hope that each of you will sign up for one of the many areas of our charity program while at the park.  We will need donation sorters, delivery teams, auctioneers, auction tabulating, auction spotters, kitchen help, crew leaders, and more!

Please contact me ( [email protected] ) with questions, and I will do my best to get your answers. Joining a charity team is a great way to get to know your traveling companions. Our charity efforts will give you the opportunity to see the families and children in their daily lives. Seeing the kids’ faces when you are offering food and supplies is priceless. I know; I cried when I was there the first time!

One of our opportunities will be working with a primary school near Ensenada (ages 5 to 11).  We will have more information on their needs when we return from our scouting trip in December.  Stay tuned for more info on our Facebook page, or from our Wagonmaster at [email protected].

For those of you who will be in Quartzsite, AZ, in late January but will not be attending the 2025 rally, please consider bringing donations to the Boomers site on Plomosa Rd. I will be there from 1/22/25 until 1/30/25, and I will arrange to get your donations to Mexico.
